Privacy Policy
Sudoku Let's Try is developed and operated by Li Zhang, an individual developer. This policy explains how the app and its website handle information. For privacy questions or requests, contact sudoku@joypace.com.
Puzzles and local data
The app stores information needed to play and remember your progress, such as saved puzzles, moves, notes, settings, achievements, game balances and purchase-related records. These records are stored on your device. Where puzzle creation or photo import is available, the app also stores the draft information you choose to keep.
When you choose or take a puzzle photo, image processing runs on your device. A retained editor draft can include a local copy of the photo. Photos are not included in puzzle-sharing links or the synced Mine puzzle collection.
Optional cloud sync
If you connect a supported cloud account, the app uses the account connection and its permissions to synchronize app data through that provider, such as iCloud or Google Drive. Synced data can include puzzles, progress, settings, achievements, balances and purchase-related records. Local editor draft photos are not part of that sync.
The cloud provider handles its account authentication. Its privacy policy and retention rules apply to the information it processes. Removing the app from one device does not necessarily remove copies stored in your cloud account or on your other devices.
Advertising and consent
The app uses Google AdMob to provide optional rewarded ads. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as IP addresses, device or advertising identifiers, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic or performance information to deliver ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud. Ad personalization depends on applicable consent and privacy settings.
Where required, Google's User Messaging Platform presents privacy choices before ads can be requested. You can revisit the app's ad privacy options when available, and manage advertising permissions in your device settings. Declining personalization does not necessarily stop all processing needed to provide an ad or prevent fraud.

Purchases
Available in-app purchases are handled through the platform's store. The app receives transaction and entitlement information needed to provide, restore and reconcile purchases. Payment details you give to the store are handled by that store; the app does not collect your payment-card number. Store account, billing and refund information is subject to the store provider's policies.
Age sharing and Child Mode
If you choose to share age information through a supported platform, the app uses the returned age-range or parental-control information to apply its age-related settings. The app does not ask you to enter a date of birth. When Child Mode is active, ads and the Shop are disabled.
Shared puzzles and the website
A puzzle-sharing link contains the puzzle's original clues. Anyone who receives the link can view those clues. A message or image you choose to share is sent through the sharing app or service you select. A puzzle link does not contain your cloud credentials, full saved-game history or original photo.
The website and its hosting services, including Cloudflare, process ordinary web-request information such as IP address, browser information and requested URLs to deliver pages and maintain security. Opening a shared link sends its encoded puzzle URL to the website. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Diagnostics and support
The app keeps bounded diagnostic logs locally to help investigate failures. Its log viewer lets you review, copy and clear them. The app's diagnostic-log feature does not automatically upload these logs. If you send logs, screenshots or a support email, I receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond or investigate the issue. Please avoid sending passwords or other sensitive information.
Retention, deletion and your choices
Local information remains while it is needed for your saved progress and settings, or until removed using available app or device controls. Diagnostic files rotate within a size limit. Your device's backup settings and cloud provider may retain additional copies. Store and advertising providers handle their own records under their policies.
You can contact me to request help accessing, correcting or deleting information handled by the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already lawfully carried out. I may need information to verify a request and identify the relevant app data; do not send account passwords.
Cloud, advertising and hosting providers may process information in countries other than your own under their respective privacy terms. Changes to this policy will be published here with an updated effective date.
